We did it!!

I am very happy to report that we have managed to raise enough money to get Dillon his tiptop new iPad. Thank you all for being so supportive of this young boy.
I'll keep writing updates on Dillon but for now, please stop your donations.

    Sophie, I'm an author, just completing a book as part of a five-book nonfiction COUNT ON ME SPORTS SERIES. The books are about sportsmanship, teamwork, perseverance, etc. The fifth book is "20 Inspiring Acts of Courage" (scheduled for publication in spring 2014 by Free Spirit Publishing) and I've just written a mini-chapter about you, your interview and speech, and your efforts for Dillon. You're in good company -- courageous historical sports figure like Jackie Robinson, Billie Jean King and, yes, Ben Hogan. Keep it up!

    Golf is great game with a lot of history, tradition and lore. It also has a rather spiritual element to it. I guess that may be a reason for its charitable quality. In any case professional golfers both male and female seem to be at the top of charitable giving in professional sport. Keep up the good work and keep working on that short game...
